March 30th at 6:30 pm family friendly gaming will be streaming blackhole simulator before launch! I didn't give any streamers any limits on how much of the game they could play pre launch.

HEY! LUNATIC HERE!
I wanted to touch base a little bit about launch. We are all ready to launch blackhole simulator as this game releases I want some feedback from you! That way I can make the necessary adjustments to the game! Im one person although I'd like to think im pretty motivated there is only so much I can get done in a set amount of time I plan updates and if theres bugs i will try to include them than :D.

OKAY NOW TO THE GOOD STUFF.

I have planned for the next 2-3 weeks the final 8 evolutions for after the 4th stage evolutions. This means the evolutions will essentially double. with that the intention is to use these overpowered evolutions for levels 40-60. that means the content for the whole game is going to double as well basically. implementation is going to be the tricky part. as now I have a ton of enemies in the game that all deal different amounts of damage to every different black hole.

As it might be possible to get this update before launch, im not going to promise that because I also have to figure out what im going to do with the quest system as that is not in the game yet. Im not sure how im going to do this but it will get done :D for this update.

with the addition of these things future updates will be planned based on feedback and such.

Hey steam nextfesters, I don't have a ton of additional content ready aside from the demo unfortunately.
But I am working on some new planets.

Planet gokiro- will fire energy blasts from above that deal massive damage!

planet Zugit-every time you kill an enemy they drop bubble gum giving you 5 health and 5 money

these are getting to later game upgrades so the benefit from these is going to elevate, the evolutions are going to be continued going to a 4 way split - two upgrades after glitched and two upgrades after galaxy
than it will continue into an 8 way split meaning two seperate paths for each evolution. this will be the current "end game" if you will.
however after that i might put in a 16 way split which would give you a ton of different evolutions.
for example
dark hole evo either you can become glitched black hole or galaxy black hole
after you have glitched black hole which can evolve into two things
after you also have galaxy which can also evolve into two things.

some exciting things coming up I just hope I can keep everything balanced while introducing all these new upgrades pets and other things. the full version is going to be massive compared to the demo and I can't wait to show it to you :D

So you go near the blood moon after wave 10 and you finally will get there wave 20, 20-30 will be the frozen space which is planned to introduce more random events Im currently working on sprties for that. also the new upgrades to help sustain you through that dangerous biome.

Unfortunately the demo will be finalized with the next update. Im giving you a larger chunk of the game because I feel like it :D

Coming with the next update

-final boss for the demo. black hole killer will be the only new enemy that spawns wave 15
upon beating the final boss you can keep playing with hardcore enemies.

-adding new perks (possibly) the issue is incorporating them into the early game.

-adding a new planet (possibly)

-adding new enemies from wave 10-15(priority)

since im still working on the game I want to take the rest of the time to work directly on the game without managing updates and etc. I can assure you the full game will be everything you hoped for and then some for a hyper casual game. What I started with was just a little tiny black hole you cant even see it when your playing so i decided to use a clicker instead, this was intended to imply you are in the tutorial basically.

as far as pricing 1.99 seems fair after all this work gets done with the game and we should see an april release and depending on success will depend on what get added after that.

Thank you to everyone involved including my build/store manager maxim for helping me issue these updates as promptly as possible.

with demo update 2 finished heres what was added to the game

-added the 20 gold clicker (when bar fills up gives you money even when in the menu)

-added 1 new enemy the protomech(hard) hes on par with the final boss of the demo

- 2 new acheivements protomech kill 10, missle kill 10

-added 2 new planets to the game which are very expensive but worth it :D

-added 2 new pets to the game lightning drone and stone gollum

-added evolutions glitched black hole and galaxy black hole.

-fixed some more optimization issues with enemy collisions made it more streamlined

these updates are intended to be in cohesion with the perk system im adding next should be the final update of the demo coming next.

with demo update 2 we are adding the following things

-two new evolutions to black hole evolution
first path-glitched black hole

second path- galaxy destroyer black hole

also added 2 new pets

lightning drone- follows player around and shoots lightning that deals 30 damage

stone gollum- follows player around and throws rocks that deal 100 damage

new hard mode enemy the missle-deals big damage early game

there might be more stuff added pending time tommorow morning :D Testing for bugs currently

with demo update .30 it adds a ton of features the list is as follows

-added 7 new enemies to the game.

-added new absorbtion zone where you just have to be in the zone for so long and you get money and experience

-added the start of the demo end game content with different enemies higher tier acheivements etc.

-fixed the save system completely, it was completely redone from the ground up

-swapped out some ugly art work to get it to match the game better.

-added enemies to delete when far enough off screen (performance)

-added planet diablo which is a very important buff for late demo gameplay.

-made the new enemies work with existing systems properly. this was a major task.


next update you might see the beginning of the next black hole evolution.

-the planet system added in that will add new events to the game

-possibly more

-im gonna look at the demo tonight and see if there is more that could be added or if im just gonna continue on the full version. the goal is to have the demo stop at level 10 and end further level progression there. however you might still encounter some of the random events.
