This game seems to work fine on Steam Deck with its default install... except for one issue I ran into: Achievements. There are some buggy achievements and I think it might have to do with the Linux port being installed and it being an old version.

After you install the game for the first time on Steam Deck, you need to go to the game's properties and select a compatibility mode. I used one of the latest Proton packs from the drop down. Once you set this, you will have to click on the Update button (where you would normally run the game).

This should begin downloading the windows version which isn't as buggy with the achievements.

Note: If you have played the game previously in the Linux version, scores do not get transferred to the windows version and will be completely zero'd out.

I was able to get "Blaze the Sun", "The Lonesome Road", and "Underpowered" by doing the above. Hopefully It works for any of the previously bugged achievements that might be out there.
