Similar to Autobahn Police Simulator you have some task you can do while you are on duty but you don't need to.
Autobahn Police Simulator is in my opinion more detailed regarding to the gameplay of an policeman doing his duty on the autobahn or highway. You have e.g. a radio and the dialogues are more detailed and you have more ways how you can control a suspect. All in all Autobahn Police Simulator is focused on simulating a german policeman in a detailed way and Enforcer Police Crime Action is more a RPG and not that detailed.
The autobahn police here in Germany is not compareble with SWAT. ;)
Also it is not easy to get a weapon as private person here in Germany, so only few people have weapons here. And so the police officers, especially autobahn police don't use weapons very offen.
By the way we tried to avoid any critical cases with weapons, so you simply needn't it in this simulation although the police officers in the game are equiped with weapons.
I am very sorry, that you expect an action game, but simply this isn't an action game. It is a simulation of police daily routine.
Honestly we note a discomfort with "not using the gun" issue and think about it for an update or a sequal. ok?

That nothing like a police car in US. never once seen the police use a station wagon in US.
And cars in US are different in every state. But general police use one of about four cars

The other type is ford police intercoptor The blue car and the car next to it. Also in this picture are the Ford Intectptor Utitly which most department perfer. This happens to be a picture of State Police in Penn on a limit access toll Highway.

older cars that are no longer sold but are currently still serving, (but retiring in next few years) Crown Vic. http://photos.olesnevich.us/Emergency-Vehicles/Pennsylvania/Pennsylvania-State-Police/i-MsfBKcF/A
Some departments all use tahoes. There are a few other cars but but the CVPI and FPIU are the main cars. CVPI from the past and FPIU seems to be taking it place...maybe.

@robert: Alarm für Cobra 11 is a fiction movie. Our target was to make a game which shows more realistic the work of autobahn police.
We will look at the vehicles, but to make a completly new vehicle is costly. So we thought to make reskins of diferent police cars. And then to concentrate on the development of Autobahn Police Simulator 2. There we plan a lot of new stuff (also using pistols, but this happen very rarely). So your wish is in development.
out of any other police game i've played this is by far the best (cant wait to see what autobahn police simulator 2 will give ) :)
