more updates for google earth vr plz. add better flying around controls

it starts up on my monitor but wont launch in VR. any ideas? using a Meta Quest 3

Since they are doing improvements on the sever stored data all the time, which is good, they kind of forget about this fantastic app, which absolutely has room for improvements. I mean, Google Earth VR has been released nearly a decade ago and hasn't adapted to any capabilities of modern hardware. At least they could improve precaching of geometry and sight distances. I'm considering trying this out but don't have a VR headset, nor know much about them. Is there any recommendations for a good "first" VR Headset to use this with?

everytime I try to access menu's, or generally move around the world. My right controller turns into a giant white octagon, and I cant seem to get rid of this damn thing. Plus I cant read any of the prompts for the controls. Idk why this is happening.
