This game is just wondefull to me this is become an old game but it still has a big place in my heart i have over 1.5k h in the game i have beaten 1 boss in the island and im still having fun even tho im still a total noob after all this time for me this game is just a masterpiece just like subnautica is but if you arent ready to spend alot of time for the game i dont recommend it because it can be a very slow pased game for progression and also i honestly still find the og version better than asa yeah maybe asa is more realistic but is it really more fun no this game is just notalgia filled with action and love i hope you found this usefull have a great day

Ever since ASA released, the final update to ASE has made it unplayable to many people. Bugs that were fixed for YEARS suddenly come back, crashes are happening by the thousands, mods magically stopped working and the creators have no idea why or how to fix them. Servers have gone down and been unable to restart even on new networks.

Ive spent over 15 hours fixing my own game over and over again, and if you go to forums for help the developer accounts are telling people things like "ASA has many improved features" and "you should just buy ASA so you dont have to deal with this." (the second one is almost a direct quote from a lead dev's twitter response to people complaining about ASE being magically unplayable)

Ive put hundreds of hours and lost 100% of my data and hours of what should have been fun to these greedy [expletive detected]. I will NEVER buy ASA or AS2 because of what Wild Card is doing under the table with ASE, and neither should anyone else. This game began as a crowdfunded early access title in 2013, ive owned it across three separate accounts and systems, and this is how they treat you when nobody wants to buy the remaster with EVERY SINGLE new dino having a sign of "Please purchase DLC to tame" and $5 pay to win pvp creatures, all of which fall through the map every 3 seconds because the devs forgot how to make a game in their restructuring from game development to game marketing.

This game is very fun especially on multiplayer but single-player is also very fun that is when you have stuff to do by yourself.
