I hadn't played ARK in a long time, like since i played it on console and i wanted to give it a try again. Had a nice world going, built a good base with wooden behemoth gates and doors just to secure my area a bit.

The bad luck comes in before I finish because as I am trying to do build my wall, I have just a pack of raptors camping around all the areas with the most trees and I don't have the dinos to fight that many. I have an alpha raptor that is just terrorizing the beach life and is camping out my base.

After getting through all that and starting to build my wall I notice a trex which wasn't a huge concern as it was far away and I'm like no way the dino ai is just gonna let that thing get dragged by multiple dinos and get near my base as I finish making it... get done making it, all things look good, should be safe from it... nah, this guy really went all the way around my walls, swims in water that is so deep that it slowed him down, and came from the back where I was planning on building an area for water dinos and kills all my dinos and everything I have built.

Worst luck I have ever had playing a video game, I still love the game and I will definitely try again soon, but after that I just need a break because everything I had done was one whole session and to see it all go away in like 2 minutes was really depressing. I hope others can comment some the of the unlucky stuff thats happen on their worlds.

This was also done at the regular difficulty (1.0) with nothing else done to the world besides just making my food and water depletion be a little slower
