press c to crouch it will make you a bit harder to see by the spino, if its a little ways away you should be able to crouch up to your body and grab your stuff

Ah yes, the first time I pissed off a Spino on the Footpaw, and it proceeded to tear down my thatch beach hut so it could eat me. That's when I knew the game meant serious business.

Just tame a decently high level dino is the solution. Even a good Parasaur will dispatch a wild Spino no problem.

it is kind of hard to get a good parasaur on the island tho, it probably could kill a spino, if the spino is level -20 and if the parasaur is 100+ the levels on the island are trash so idk how you would get a great parasaur, also a trike could do the job, almost any level i would think just not super low (like lower than the spino)

thats what i usually do lol, thing is spinos are so fast you might not be able to lure it far enough away before it kills you

Yeah looking for a specific species on the island always causes tears and regret.

I recommend new players just catch any early game high level mount that happens to wander around. Be it Trike, Para, Iguanodon, Moschops.

moschops are actually really good, like really really good, when ridden, when not ridden they are trash

and iguanadons have the no stam run which is nice!

People sleep on moschops or think they are bad because they run away when Wild. Hands down the best early game tame you can get if it's above level 100. Bred, they are lethal into the late game. Their bite radius is huge; they get thatch, fiber, and berries. They also do excellent damage, especially when bred. The only drawback is that there is no saddle, so you have to go very high in health.

yeah best fist tame for sure, kills trikes, gets wood, hide, fiber, you can then make beds as they give great xp! i usually start high rate pvp with moschops on crystal isles, get a moschop then get to level 65 tame some wyverns then accidentaly run into turret towers lol

They spawn from killing fish. Dont kill to many fish or they spawn

Nah they spawn when i wake up with implant,also the flying dinos (forgor name) eat fish too and may cause the spawn. Idk. But i swear they never spawned before even when i killed fish. It has to do with the update.

you can go in a spot where it cant reach you and just shoot it with a long range weapon (bow or crossbow) if its low level you can kill it pretty easily with like 15 arrows from a crossbow and like 25 from a bow

Btw how do i get crossbow? Leveling up is so slow.
