I was about to buy it, then it disappear! Omg.

I cannot figure this out and it's really ruining the game for me. No matter what I do I always get the penalty for "speeding on pit lane". I'm unfamiliar with the rules as I don't watch nascar but I'm not sure what else there is to try. I've tried staying in the pit lane all the way around the track, I've tried watching what the other cars do when they pit and they don't stay in it the whole time, only about a quarter length of the track and then they go on it. I have a paint scheme I downloaded that was a blank car done as a Camaro. I painted it the way I wanted. But now when I go to the paint shop and go to the car, I get "Nascar 15 has encountered a fatal error and needs to shut down." It won't let me select the car. Does anyone have any ideas?...
