You basically just spam the same combo over and over again on enemies who mostly ignore you. You can shoot fireballs, but the enemies spawn so fast and so close to the points and it does such meh damage (2/3 fireballs to kill even the weakest enemy) it doesn't feel worth it. Super-mode also largely feels pointless since the majority of enemies die in 1 combo anyways. It helps with the like 1 exception and makes fireball do 60 instead and that's about it....
