I remember a bug type enemy but it didn't trigger my arachnophobia. It also didn't look like a spider which helped.

The Meonekton is the only thing even vaguely spider-like, and it's more just flying insect.

Final Fantasy 7 (Original) is the only one that ever triggered my arachnophobia. It was the Dungeon at Cosmo Canyon. Everything else? Fair game. I never finished FF15, though and did not play the MMOs.
Not as bad as WoW, though. I always asked my friends to go through Naxxramas's spider quarter first. Knowing it's coming was MUCH worse than just getting through at our first opportunity.
