Hello,

Tomorrow, AFFRAID will be released at last! Don't forget to have a look on the page as I won't miss the exact time!
I fix some bug like the creature moving after death and I made the life bar more readable.

I did modify a bit the introduction cinematic.

Hello guys,

Quick fix here!!!
I realized that some features were blocked or didn't work properly.

I fixed the following:

The language localization WORKS now! Don't forget to open the options panel to select your language.

The inventory was blocked by the new health kit panel/screen. Now everything is ok. The health kit is hidden when you use the inventory.

It was really shocking for me to realize that i had those game killing bugs but everything is in order now.

I am working on the new trailer now and I am waiting for my artist to deliver me a new hero image so I can create new capsule for the page.

Hello people,

As usual, I am working hard to bring you the best version of Affraid.
I have improved the general sense of the gameplay, something the game developer call "the juice"!
The game will be juicier to play from now. There are some points to improve but they will come in time

Before that here is the list of upgrades:

New UI images

New VFX for bullet tracer and muzzle fire added to each shot

Camera shake stronger at each shot

New VFX for the gaz canister

Assault rifle range increased

Pistol range increased

Aim system upgrade with laser pointer for more precise fire

Challenge objective point improved with the distance from the player character.

Don't forget to wishlist AFFRAID!

It is a very short announce.
Affraid is now compatible with controller but it is still better to play it with keyboard and mouse.

The demo is not compatible with controller.

I really appreciate all the support I receive for the conception and development of this game, so thanks to all the followers!

I have work everyday to bring you a better AFFRAID the last days. The game have already change from its demo appearence. A lot of bug has been removed and above all a lot of feature has been added.

Here is the list of updates:

NINA (the main character) can now turn her head around in the same manner as Haydee in the game Haydee. In Resident Evil 3, Jill could not turn her head around I found that this feature add life to the character.

New First aid kit Management system: Now, you can stock the fist aid kit for future use when your life is full. A new UI will appear with your health and the number of First aid kit stocked. It is not found in the inventory because the inventory has not been designed to stock and remove asset from time to time. (I wrote the code myself and I did not use an already made inventory system)

UI animations have been added everywhere! The interface is more alive!

And the biggest updates is the possibility to choose the language among:
French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Russian, German and Japanese.

It is not yet complete but You can eventually play AFFRAID in your mother tongue!

A leaderboard so you can track your results and see your level in this game.
A new character or a new foe maybe some sort of umbrella corp soldiers?!

Hello dear players and future players,

I am happy to announce a new version of AFFRAID.
As you already know, AFFRAID is an Action horror game inspired by Resident evil and Haydee!

I find also a lot of inspiration on the game The killing antidote.

What is the difference between the demo and the final version of the game?

AFFRAID can offer you at least 1 hour of game for the first run and more if you play the different difficulty level or the challenge mode.

I did add a challenge mode where you need to fight you way up the end of a labyrinthe.

The history itself include about 16 levels with increasing difficulty.
I will not tell it enough...READ THE INSTRUCTIONS at the beginning of each level and don't forget to open the inventory by pressing tabulation button to look at the map.

I added 5 maps correponding to the levels 03, 05, 09,10 and 15. They will allow you to find your way and not get completely lost. I know the way but you don't so I want to ease the game a bit by this way.

Compared to the version 0.7, the game have now 2 different type of zombies. The original version, the grey one has been removed. The newer versions are a bit similar to the zombie of RE3.

What next?
I would like to translate the game into 5 languages at least....A lot of work ahead!
