Firstly, a big thank you to Haemimont Games for this great game and for giving the go-ahead to release this mod. With this mod, you now have access to outfits that were previously exclusive to PS4, Xbox One and Early Access.

Have you ever wanted to play a build with massive overdrive regeneration but didn't wanna look like every other dapper-styled Cavalier out there? Or have you ever picked up a lightsaber and wished you had a cool futuristic outfit to go along with it? Or have you ever wanted to launch a massive "Banzai!" charge into battle like a fearless samurai? Now you can!

Have fun with your new wardrobe, and remember to take some new screenshots with friends and family. Happy 2020!

1. Download the mod file (see section Download Details below).
   
   
2. Place the downloaded mod file ( swatmod.hpk ) into Victor Vran's DLC folder. If you do not know where this is, open the Properties page of the game from your Steam client, select the LOCAL FILES tab, and click on the BROWSE LOCAL FILES button. This will open an Explorer window on your desktop where you can see the DLC folder.
   
   
3. Launch and enjoy the game. That's it! You can now look forward to receiving these new outfits as random loot drops from opening chests and from your level-up rewards.

With effect from 4th November 2019, users with the Steam version of Victor Vran Motorhead DLC will need to roll back to the previous build of Motorhead DLC in order for this mod to function. Please refer to the forum discussion in my gtmod for the background history and detailed explanation of this issue.

At the moment, this issue is limited to users with the 4th November update of Motorhead DLC. Steam users without Motorhead DLC and all GOG versions of the game are not affected and do NOT require any roll back.


NOTE: These instructions for rolling back are only applicable to Steam users with Motorhead DLC who have applied the 4th November 2019 update.

1. Find and Download the Appropriate Motorhead Depot from Steam Console

Type the following command in the Steam Console: download_depot 345180 462290 5052358866078023302

Alternatively, to open the Steam Console directly from Windows, you can also type in the following command from Windows command prompt: Start Steam://nav/console

And then type the following command in the Steam Console: download_depot 345180 462290 5052358866078023302

2. Move or Copy the Downloaded HPK File to Victor Vran's DLC Folder

After the download has completed, look for the motorhead.hpk file in the following directory:

<steam_dir>\SteamApps\content\app_345180\depot_462290\DLC

Be sure to backup the Nov 4th copy of motorhead.hpk before replacing it with the one you just downloaded. The Motorhead DLC is located in:

<steam_dir>\SteamApps\common\Victor Vran\DLC


Q: What are the new outfits?
A:

1. The Wanderer. Exclusive outfit for Early Access.
   
2. The Samurai. Exclusive outfit for PS4.
   
3. The Trooper. Exclusive outfit for XBox One.

Q: How do I get them?
A: After installing this mod, these outfits will become available in your game as:

1. Random loot drops from opening treasure chests upon reaching level 20, and
   
2. Additional level-up reward choices at the following levels:
   
   • Level 35: The Wanderer Outfit
     
   • Level 41: The Samurai Outfit
     
   • Level 48: The Trooper Outfit
     

Q: I am already at level 50 or 60. Will I still be able to collect these outfits from my level-up rewards?
A: No, you will not be able to collect them as level-up rewards anymore. But you will be able to receive them as random loot drops from opening treasure chests.

Q: Do I need to have the Overkill Edition or the Motorhead or Fractured World DLCs to get these outfits?
A: No, it is not necessary to own the Overkill Edition, Motorhead or Fractured World DLCs in order to receive these outfits.

Q: Do these exclusive outfits provide any special abilities?
A: No, all 3 exclusive outfits function and work exactly as the Cavalier Outfit that is available from the beginning of the game. But you will look WAY COOLER wearing them.

Q: Can I change these outfits in the transmuter?
A: Yes, they function and work exactly like the Cavalier Outfit in every way except visual appearance.

Q: Will I be able to use these outfits online?
A: Yes, you can use them in singleplayer offline or multiplayer online modes.

Q: Does this mod alter the file format of my saved games?
A: No. This mod does not make any changes to the current save file format.

Q: Can I remove this mod after I have installed it?
A: Yes, simply delete the swatmod.hpk file from Victor Vran's DLC folder.

Q: What will happen to all my exclusive outfits if I remove the mod? Will they disappear from my inventory?
A: No, any outfit that you received while the mod is installed will continue to be in your inventory even after you uninstall the mod. However, any new characters you create or play without the mod will not be able to receive these outfits if you do not have the mod installed.

Q: Can I install the mod again after I removed it? Just in case I changed my mind?
A: Sure. Just place the swatmod.hpk file back in the DLC folder again and you're all set to go.
