What is the best way to configure sound? I cant hear anything

I bought the Macventure series. Excellent, but out of the 4 games in the package, Deja Vu II is the only one that does not work. I use the Apple IIgs version for all games, since it's color. I'm running Windows 7 professional and my drivers are up to date. In the apps folder there are 3 or 4 files only, nothing to configure, so maybe someone knows more about this?...
