Mod manager now available in Total War: SHOGUN 2 launcher

Hey everyone,

You may have noticed a little update to SHOGUN 2 yesterday. We're happy to announce that the mod manager is now accessible for Total War: SHOGUN 2 through the Total War launcher!

In order to see the mod manager, you'll need to ensure you're opening the launcher from Total War: SHOGUN 2 on Steam, as it won't appear if you open the launcher from another TW title.

Let us know in this thread if you run into any issues, and we'll pass it on to the team.

Cool, now I can't play the game with my mods because they are "outdated" and it crashes my game. Any fixes for this?

TEA-CAP try and resubscribe to the mods after deleting them in your data folder. Also delete user.script in %Appdata% (AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\scripts) .

Anyway since the mod manager wasn't working, also ted stopped working , also the custom maps in map folder in appdata .

Any solution for ted and custom maps ?

outdated is just a warning, it does not affect the game. Your game crashes because of load order/mod compatibility issues. Someone also said their previous mods are still loading even when the new mod manager has no mods enabled. So double check in the user.script and make it blank if its not already is.

my mods arent uninstalling and it means i cant play multiplayer. so thanks. you broke the mod manager.

All the mods that worked for me before show as out of date, what gives, from green blocks to yellow triangles, does this mean all the mods need to be update? If so there are a bisillion modelers out there who are not going to fix their mods, so you still F****d up the game you are worthless and still achieving you decimation of S2.
