Man I remember having a blast with this game way back when. I'd love to play something like it again, does anyone know of a game with a similar gameplay loop

Just for everyone providing bug reports, suggestions and asking whats happening, the company is bankrupt, closed down, their websites and social media feeds are offline, there is one staff member left in their discord but hasnt replied in two weeks to private messages - basically the game is now dead, buried and will forever remain as it is now ( its still a playable title dont get me wrong) but no more progress will be made...
