I never heard back so I just stopped playing

This is why I don't update to new Windows versions. Doing so tends to make a lot of games stop working, because they were created, and intended to be played, with older versions of Windows. Hopefully someone will come up with a solution for people who want to play this game using Windows 11.

It's barely an issue, it's just one random game. Most proper games will already be on top of these problems, it's just a small company so I am not surprised they haven't noticed or patched it. Think of all the players this game has, (not many.).
I'm still really enjoying the new UI that Win 11 has.

I have the same problem, but I still have windows 10

My antivirus is blocking it.

I have Windows 11 and the game is running fine here.

Win 10 and game freeze after startup, all I can hear is music.

I'm also on Windows 10 but for some reason, even if I tell my antivirus to accept the game, it still gets blocked. I've gone in at least a dozen times to get my antivirus to unblock the game. The program says it's unblocked, but when I hit play . . . . poof! - the game goes away again. I got it up and running once, but then all of the games in the series got blocked again a short while later.

This is my favorite series of this type of game, and I have a lot of the games, but now I can't play any of them. No, I'm not willing to disable my antivirus. I was going to buy more of the games in this series, but that's pointless now.

Same problem here... It used to run. Windows 10 user here.

I wanted to play it again, but it just gets stuck in the intro when it fades into a black screen. The cursor cannot be moved.

Just tried it again, the game still doesn't run. Just freezes on start up.

The thing is, the developer(s) keep churning out new sequels of this game. The most recent that I found on Steam is 12 Labours of Hercules XIV: Message in a Bottle, which was released on 10/24/2022. So, you'd think they would keep these games updated.

Seriously, they haven't fixed this yet?!?

I am using Windows 10 and it runs with no problems for me. I'm almost in the end of the game. Until now no problems.

Ok I'll give this a try now, and update everyone about my experience
