I'm talking about gameplay, This beats even TF2 for me at the moment, and I have some pretty good cosmetic items in that game and many thousand hours.

Rivals sucks if you want to talk about repetitive gameplay, and toxic community. Brain dead.

MW full of cheaters.

Battlefield... Dead.

L4D too toxic.

This is a proper game.

Maybe during it's prime like 10 years ago when clans were released and there were a much higher amount of players.

you couldn't pay me to go back in this game now, 2015 was the last time i seriously played and was actually pretty good at the game at the time. I dont even remember the name I used in the game anymore I originally played on their official launcher, by the time it was on steam I was burned out.

yeah each Counter Strike ran until it was usurped by its successor. Though many imitate, ultimately it is their need to make it their own deviating away from the formula that stops them from capturing the status of "created the soul successor to MWO" Is it IP rights holding them back or just cultural? IDK. They definitely aren't allowed to just carbon copy a Catapult... so whoever owns it, MW is niche.

Certainly the game could be improved in both game design terms and quantitative terms of bigger assets.

only grps that do stupid tactics, refuse basic gameplay, so all the randoms that try to win are f'ed
they either wintrade/feed friends on the other teams side or, see someone on their team they 1000% don't want to win that match and just throw, or are 40+ years old neckbeards that are just stubborn af or want to play their mechwarrior fantasy stories in pub queue somehow idk, just terrible
most of the real good players that used to be in t1 mm (which you fall into ones you reached t3) and actually understood that it is pub queue and they should play it like that are gone

the best matchmaking these days you get at t4 (because miraculously people there understand it's pub queue and follow basic MWO gameplay rules), sadly if you can aim just a little bit you be out of that in no time

i am Tier 4/3 , i get up to tier 3 get some losses and back to tier 4 :D

tier doesn't matter that much except the very top one. If you want to tier up stop worrying about winning the match and just do the best you as an individual can.

that is not true
since t3, t2, t1 ( tier matchmaking spread is one tier up one tier down, you reach tier 3 you get t2 players in your matches) have the worst matchmaking i have experienced in this game atm, with this tiny comunity that is left (i'm playing since closed beta)
meaning t3, t2, t1 matchmaking is the worst, because of players and more so grp's that only reached those tiers because they are on coms and because if you play enough you naturally get there anyway
but in reality shouldn't be there because they can't really play pub queue matches
true solo queue would have helped with that... (never got that...)
t4 is the best matchmaking (but you can't stay there, without deliberatly just afk'ing and or losing match after match to derate yourself and maybe get banned for it) and t5 i never experienced

Honestly this is the best team based game out there. No drama, good games, tactics, lots to learn, no toxic teams. This is the game you watch your team mates finish the match because some of the stuff you will learn or witness is amazing.

Just all around good games.

you shouldn't quote that since top tier is just toxic
and most of the people that reach it only do so because of how bad the rating system is design, meaning if you can aim just a littlebit you reach t1 anyway, no challenge
and meaning most of the people that are there are only there because discord exists and they play in grp's, whihch is like cheating vs solo players
and the system does not take into account that they are grp'ed up, which it should
it should just give a flat out rating penalty to players in grp's

the tier based matchmaking is MWO's worst system

just for Info, its 2 Tiers up and down . i am Tier 3 and regular meet Trials and Tier 1s.
