My cities seem to keep starving because units freeze as they're going about their tasks. At least I think they're frozen because the animation stops mid-stride and stays frozen until they die of starvation.

I click "new game" and it responds with a sound effect but nothing else happens. Anyone else having this issue? Tried restarting the game a few times but has not loaded once.
