I think I need some help. I keep getting killed by the monster after I call for help on the radio. I have all the bones and I'm trying to reach the runes on the map, but at some point the monster always gets me. Feels like I'm missing something... Following the compass doesn't seem to always work ...

The compass flashes red with several patterns during the final sequence of the game, does anyone know what that's about? The patterns don't seem to be random, and change whenever you change your map segment.

When you activate the radio tower and have to follow the compass, the compass doesn't work properly all the time and will not flash red on directions it still resets you. This results in me not following the compass, but rather needing to trial and error every single direction and notate my own directions for every single step taken, because the compass may or may not decide to tell me I can go where I will be reset. If this is a mechanic that is intended, then what even is the point of the compass? I...
