Maintenance Update 2017
Versions 3.4.51.419 (Win) and 3.4.51.433 (OSX)

- Upgraded to the latest Steamworks SDK version (1.39)
- Various improvements and fixes

Details:
- Shadow improvements.
- Game completion percentage rounding error fixed.
- Sometimes money achievements were not gained with the exact amount of money in bag. This is now fixed.
- Random crash and save game loss after being killed by a botfish fixed.
- Random illogical flying curve of projectiles in dungeons fixed.
- If you play with a gamepad, you can select Sky Island from World Map before unlocking the island.
- It is possible to get "inside" the Sky Island after watching the "Emblem of Sun" cinematics.
- It is possible to walk pass level portal in Great Forest.
- Hero slides uncontrollable if he dies frozen and has "last chance" equipped.
- Misplaced camera when Hermit talks to the hero after completing the well quest.
- Moving cubes removes nearby decoration objects.
- Performing a spinning attack without energy causes the player to be stuck for a moment.
- Blow fish characters cannot be killed with sword after being frozen.
- Tikarel, after completing Sky Island: Book vanishes when touched by a bomb.
- Bomb Island, mines, door in front of boss door: You don't get into the next room when swimming far most left/right through door.
- Tikarel: Stuck behind Neetie's garden.

Added the few missing strings at the end and corrected a few other strings (e.g. Annulla --> Predefinite to reset settings)

Did you find a reason for the random crashes? I asked about that in another thread, but there was no reaction. I went to the first island after the tutorial and walked around there for a couple of minutes before the game crashed and took my whole system down with it. Only grey on the screen and a horrible screeching noise from my speakers. I had to pull the plug because nothing worked. I don't want to try it again before this is fixed.

mines doesnt really crash, more like the screen freezes and i cant really do anything, like i can still hear the music and even hear my charcter move when i press w, but the screen is just frozen, which sucks because tis game looked sooo fun, but i cant go 5 mins without it freezing

I'm having the same problem... Keeps crashing, but, you can hear everything happening behind a frozen screen.

I thought I fixed it by disabling the controller. But that only worked for about an hour and a half. :(

Please fix this devs, I'm loving the game and want to complete it.

I'll keep pokeing around with settings, and post any positive findings.

I just managed to play for 5 or 6 hours, before it crashed!!! :):):):)

I ran it in compatibility mode for windows 8 and admin.

Admin is useless. There is this strange misconception at trying games in Admin mode, that adds only the privileges to potentially damage registry and sometimes save the files in the wrong locations...
Trying compatibility mode for 7, 8 etc is enough for 99.99999% of games. If still fails you should learn how to use Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (free, 14MB to download) to add built-in Win (retro)compatibility layers, which makes miracles. I've been able to fix even games from '90 considered impossible to run onrecent Windows OS... See also some of my guides on Steam to run f.e. Max Pyaine 1

yea it keeps freezing 5 min into game play and here are my computers spec so how do I get this fixed I my nephew bought the game for me

have you tried compatibility mode xp sp3? I got a few hours without a crash... I know it's not a solution... but, because it auto saves so frequently. I managed to not let the crashing get to me,and eventually complete the game. I genuinely hope this helps.

I also had a the graphic settings at lowest.

My game doesn´t open. I Tried restarting the pc but it gets the same error it keeps on the " preparing to launch" screen for 10 minutes. I tried again and nothing. Asked in a community topic and nothing. So im asking for the last time: What should i do?

have you tried deleteing and installing again? Definetly refund if you have already.
