This sometimes happens. When I close the game from the main menu, the screen turns gray and the game freezes. I have then force shut the game using the task manager, which is tricky because I can't see anything because of the gray screen and I have to navigate using the thumbnail image in the bottom desktop toolbar.

Why does this happen?
