Update 3636 - Patch notes
Hi everyone,

We've just released a new update for The Technomancer!

This patch contains a number of bug fixes and commonly asked for gameplay improvements. Thanks for all of your comments and feedback - we have been listening carefully!

Here's the full patch notes:

Bug fixes:
  • Fixed a bug where you could be blocked in the "Under Threat" main quest.
  • Fixed an item duplication exploit
  • Fixed a bug preventing to complete the tutorial if you changed the binding before starting it
  • Fixed a bug where the wrong button was shown during the tutorial with a PS4 controller on PC
  • Fixed animation bugs on the character
  • Fixed two bugs preventing to complete side quests "Crowd of beggar" and "Extortion under threat" after fleeing from Ophir
  • Minor bug fixes
  • Stability improvements
  • Minor UI improvements

Gameplay:
  • Implementation of a key that toggles walking or running, bound on "Caps Lock" by default
  • Rework on the loot/drain binding system in keyboard/mouse controls: Loot will now always be bound on "interaction 1" (E) and drain on "interaction 2" (Q)
  • 'Easier' Easy Mode - Following player feedback, we've reworked Easy difficulty to be more accessible. This is ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the story without investing too much time into combat.

Hope this is the place.

Suggestion 1: Add a game+ mode where you can restart the game with your end game character, equip and level and start levelling and getting ALL kinds of points again.

Was so frustrating when you hit the top and only get the abilities point.

You should haven't set a limit like that, let people level up as they see fit.
By end game I had a lot of good equip I couldn't use because of that.

Suggestion 2: More weapons and armors that can't be found in foes.
By the end game I could pretty much open my own private army using all that dropped from the soldiers, more variety would be amazing.

Just wanting to make sure it was just an error in the notes, but assume "drain on "interaction 2" (A)" is meant to say Q rather than move left

It's already corrected but in case someone is wondering why it was wrong. They are from France, Azerty vs Qwerty so A and Q are switched.

Easier Easy mode really? what about an actual hard mode. Like a real extreme Mode. I play on Extreme blindfolded to add challenge to the game. Can provide video if you wish.

One thing I'd really like to see would be an indicator on the quick map and/or mini-map that shows (at least) the north direction.

Since both maps rotate, I'm finding it a lot harder to get my bearings in an area. Having a caret or some other visual mark that follows the map's north direction (so you can see where north is on the map, regardless of which way it's rotated) would certainly be helpful.

As well, it might be nice if Mouse 3 (clicking in the mouse wheel) could automatically center the area map (the main map accessible from the menu) on the player (you can already do this by double-clicking the player indicator, but a single button click would be more convenient).

Whose animation bugs were fixed? "The character" is really vague. Did you mean the player character? If so, when are Andrew's animation bugs going to be fixed?

Good patch. Glad to see you're listening.

Could you please add the ability to remap commands to extra mouse buttons? (Buttons 4, 5, etc) That one change would be awesome. Thanks

Thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, finished hard and extreme difficulty now playing easy mode and I don't see any difference,so something is not working or the ♥♥♥♥ is flying high in your mode.

Except:
drain creatures is still (E)
and as for those riders on their emus(?) if they die together it says: (Q) drain/kill, (E) search. But if you use (E) you lose -1 karma and you do not get loot.

A little confusing.

Only drain (kill) is locked to Q (it doesn't matter for creatures; draining/skinning is the same as searching them).

I haven't killed any since the patch, but that's pretty bad if true.
