I just got this game, and my elephants/mammoths say they want "plain ground" I cannot for the life of me figure out what that is. I tried dirt, it didn't seem to work.

Some animals want to scratch themself but won't do it allthough I have placed all scratch-items available. This problem is not limited to one species and neither it affects all animals in one compound / of one species. Any help? My zoo just don't have any visitors... Labours and animals are happy at 100% and I have a Zoo Rating of 85%. Also I reduced the entrance fee to 0$. But nothing happens. What am I doing wrong. Any recommendations for me? Thank you!

I hope someone sees this, I know the discussions for both this game, and the base are dead, but I figured I would give it a try. For mission 9, I have every objective beat, except "Reach a visior number of 200". My park rating is 255, guest happiness 90+ (even when it rains), and animal happiness is 95+. I have a nice loop, with every visitor facility available, and the path is always along an enclosure. Despite all of this, I can't seem to get more than 173 guests in at any one time. I used to play this game over 10 years ago, I always remember there being a community of people who created additional animals in the game that you could add to your game files. I'm aware that it probably wasn't run by the developers of this game, but does anyone know what the website was called/how I could find it?...
