I quite enjoy the gameplay, so it pains me to not recommend this game. There were three main modes: Scenarios, Arena, and Beneath.

"Beneath" is a roguelike mode, and even though I love roguelikes, this one did absolutely nothing for me.

Arena is a wave-based survival mode. Didn't enjoy it.

Scenario is what I really liked about this game. You are placed in a setting, like a biker bar or a prison, and there are loads of people you have to fight through. This is a ton of fun. However, there are only like 6-ish scenarios, so you blast through those and that's it. It appears you can download community maps, so I went there to get some, but just looking at the most popular one the comments are all "the elevator doesn't work, so the map is unfinishable," stuff like that. I'm not going to fuss around with broken user-made content.

If this game came with like 50 scenarios it would be incredible. Or a "generate random scenario" mode would be even better.

I have played this game only in coop as a second player. There are game breaking bugs that are really annoying. Examples: We go to new floor. Somehow we both are different maps. The enemies wont come after me since they don't have access to me. I have different exit door also.
Sometimes when we enter a new floor we lose our weapons without any reason.
There are many other minor bugs that are really frustrating to deal with, like enemies inside walls
It makes me feel like the devs really don't care about the game, but only money they can make.

If there wouldn't be so many bugs I would leave good review, I have enjoyed playing this, but... still...

I have become a well known war criminal in this game with a body count of over 1 million at this point
