Can't access Definitive Edition from Steam Deck. Only the old version is available.

Same happens for me. If it is intentional, its a really bad joke. It takes about 10 minutes to load both dialogs entirely.

It doesn't: it just takes like 2 or 3 minutes for the dialogue to advance. Same happens to me

Definitely not. I've gotten the bug too, also happened when I got Terry's treasure.

The Terry's Teroids dialogue box takes a very long time to load, it just kind of froze in place

If you're having issues accessing the Definitive Edition, check out the FAQ (linked above) to see if it fixes your issue.

On Steam PC, the DE applications can be found in the launch options for LISA.
On Steam Deck, we are working on getting things working automagically (and Verified), but for now there is a short series of steps to get it working:

- Navigate to the game details page for LISA
- Before launching the game, select the cogwheel on the right of this page to open the game-specific settings popup.
- Select “Properties”.
- Select “Compatibility”.
- Check the “Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool” box
- Select “Proton 8.0-2”
- Return to the game details page.
- You may have to wait for Steam to download some additional data for the game at this point.
- Press Play!

You should now be able to select between the Definitive Editions and the original versions of the game.

The man laying in grass fight softlocks the game : the screen is fully black excluding the box with the party and beating it leads to a fully black screen

The main problem i'm having right now is that the game randomly freezes, specifically when i read one hint of Terry after the initial cave and then it froze when i got a chest in a random cave, giving me "Terry's..." and it froze

I have Joyful definitive edition but not Painful definitive edition. missing executable

I also only have access to Joyful DE, and when trying to launch Painful DE it just says missing executable, and checking the game files shows it's just never even installed Painful DE, while Joyful DE has been installed with the update.
I've tried reinstalling and file verification to be thorough but nothing there.
