Valencia took all of her equipped gear!
Is there any way we can get this back! - She had a unique sword! and black market gear!

Check your Ship, Crew, Equip tab.
Did those items automatically return to your weapons locker?

This appears to be a bug.

I have had this happen to me as well so I don't give her gear anymore.

Once any crew member leaves for any reason, they take whatever gear they had with them(!!!).

So yeah uh... don't give temporary crew gear.
