DS2 is my favorite title in the series. The mystical tone that resembles a dream, the philosophical questioning of the undead curse, the minor details you might stumble across like invisible hollows and the many unique mechanics brought me an unforgettable experience. Especially now after having played elden ring you can recognize the importance this game had, because in my opinion, DS2 was an important shot by the development team to try out what works well and what doesn't: there are many parallels to be drawn to elden ring, for example power stance, non-linear map exploration and some story aspects. The build potential in this game is also fantastic, it offers some of the coolest weapons paired with nice fashion.
It's good, but not good enough to make me forget that we still don't have a Bloodborne PC port. :(

Majula is my favorite location. It's so nice. I played mostly there. Cool.
