Our internet keeps dying when we try to play this game?
Our internet is about 5 mbps, we're trying to play 3 vs AI's but things only run about 10 minutes before we start getting tons of desyncs.

Watching task manager it says each computer is using about 800 kbps, so that shouldn't be maxing out our internet... but...

The internet will stop working when the game is running, other devices won't be able to access it, if I leave Ping running on cmd it goes up to about 50% 3000 ms ping or 50% time outs.

We've played other RTS games like Age of Empires or Starcraft fine, so it seems something this game is doing is killing the internet for everyone.

Our internet is via an old switch that connects to a router, maybe the switch is getting overwhelmed?

Update:
So we used to play this game fine 6+ months ago... it's effect on the internet now is really weird.

I can even pause the game and have the internet come back fine. Each machine will only be using about 1 Mbps according to task manager.

Did the network requirements jump up significantly for this game recently?

I will try swapping out some network components to rule that out.

Update 2:
It seems it was the map, Core Prime Corrida, an unofficial one I got from the website.

Update 3: And for anybody who wanders across this, it seems it's a current bug caused by all metal maps.

An error related to metal maps was fixed recently.
