Yeah i'm having a few crashes, but the game is sick and I can't wait to get a patch or a fix for this game, once again thanks for the great release of another JRPG for the fans. I love games published by Xseed even the older ones :)

Below is a few quotes about the "Character Creation Screen Crashing" that many of us have:


For those who are crashing when loading after character creation, are you using nvidia? For me the crash is caused by the faulting module nvwgf2um.dll used by nvidia drivers, located in syswow64, which is loaded by the game. The game crashes with certain versions of the dll. And since I already have the latest drivers for my card (gts360m), this means the only fix is getting a new card, or waiting for a patch. I have not found any other solutions. However, the root issue is not my driver, but the game's poor optimization, as no other current-gen game has caused this problem for me, and they shouldn't. Not patching this problem is inexcusable.

So... how come downloading older drives and using those or rolling back your drivers aren't an option...?

I find that most of my current issues are related to full screen, I believe I've posted enough about it to make the issues known, as have others.

This game is hands down one of my favorites in my library and I look forward to having the issues fixed, even though the issues I'm personally facing are minor and only caused me minor annoyance.

This has to be stickied.

I suffer from random crashes,also when closing the game it sometimes crashes Windows 7 64bit, Nvidia Gtx 550ti 2gb ram,i5 3.1ghz

This first portion isn't my answer, its from the guy who figured out the issue. I tried downlaoding all the old versions of my drivers, none of them worked on the GTX 260.

next time you release a game make sure it does not have as much tecchnical issues as sonic 06 next time but does not matter im not waiting for a patch I already asked my refund but you did succeed in wasting my time but that taught me not to buy from this developer again.

i have pretty much already done 95% of the game but i hope the patches make me just wanna play it agian....

besides that please fufill my wish of an even harder difficulty and/or more heavy geared pedestrians/synthisters around the map so i can enjoy just doing combat with maxed gear ^^

eitherway im looking forward to the patches.

Wow that is very rude to Xseed publisher, just because this game have a few bugs and issues doesn't mean the game is broken ? I mean some games to have some issue when they first release, this game is design for Playstation consoles so honestly you should be thankful for a port of this game on Windows PC. I love Xseed one of the best JRPG gaming publisher out there man.. remember brave story and games like lunar silver star i mean come on don't be so rude to Xseed, they are trying their best to contact the developer to get this game working for us. At least they are trying and gving us feed back on this matter, i mean even squareenix can be a ♥♥♥♥, but it doesn't mean i hate final fantasy games, just be patient, and if you got a refund. ok good, but please do not put down Xseed, if you have rude comments to say.. put it on ur twitter or something. The people on this forum are big fans on Xseed games and JRPG so your comment offends me.

@Xseed thanks for the nice feedback i have faith in you guys and when the patch is ready I hope for to correct the problems i'm having ... but once again if it still get crashes, i believe it would be my GPU, I'm planning on getting a very good nvidia gpu anyhow so i'm sure i will get to play this game one day.

Keep them JRPG coming to Windows PC thanks a bunch i really love these type of games and i'm a big time buyer when i see them on windows pc so keep supporting this platform. Thank you for all the good games over the years i have enjoy a lot of the games u published since the 90s and still now :)

like the guy said and i believe him, this was a work in progress before game launched on pc cause of the struggle of pc porting and getting it right, xseed made alot of good games and i respect them for that, and to @Xseed keep up the good work with newer games and such, i look forward to see what u release next on ps4 or PC

I'm in my 4th walktrough, had 2 random crashes - ironically both happened inside the visual novel dialogues, while never happened inside combat even with huge mobs.
Also had one crash due Alt+Tabbing, but learned to not use it at all (and rather printed out the true end guide :P)

Also I love those "will not buy again from this dev" rage comments. People like this tend to forget that even games like Battlefield where sometimes unplayable for months, while EA is a bit bigger company as Xseed.
Hyperdimension Neptunia also had it's issues, but got a patch almost every second day and it has a now a 96% positive rating which puts many games with far bigger budget to shame.
I believe Xseed will follow in this footsteps and if it sorts out, offer us more ports in the future.
