We have just released a maintenance update for OOTP 16, version number 16.11.43. It fixes an issue with relievers batting too frequently.

We've just released a minor maintenance patch, version number 16.10.42. It fixes a crash issue when quitting the application on MacOS X.

We just released a small hotfix for update #8, the new version number is 16.8.38. It contains a fix relating to leagues that have been manually deleted.

A second maintenance update, version number 16.9.39, was also issued shortly after 16.8.38; it fixes a reported problem with relievers sometimes not being pinch hit for by the AI in late innings.

We have just released a maintenance update for OOTP 16, version number 16.8.37. It fixes reported issues, here is the changelist for this patch:

- Fixed various crashes dealing with deleted leagues
- Fixed in-season wildcard standings if the first subleague has a tie for wildcard spots

We have just released the seventh update for OOTP 16, version number 16.7.36. It adds some new options and AI improvements and fixes reported bugs:

- Added option to force DH in All-Star game
- Modified All-Star player in-game usage
- Fixed disabling player popups not sticking in options
- Fixed incorrectly notifying to activate a player during off-season while not on DL
- Fixed incorrect stats in team leaderboards
- Fixed incorrect wildcard calculations when division leaders tied
- Fixed duplicate field in team_history_financials export
- Fixed case where "strict" rotation mode would still skip starters on occasion
- Fixed case where locked positions persisted after manager "takes control" of them
- Added ability to remove players from specific shortlists
- Improved offseason processing time
- Improved depth chart AI

We have just released the sixth update for OOTP 16, version number 16.6.30. It adds new features, has plenty of AI improvements and fixes reported bugs.

Info for online leagues: The file format changed in this patch, so commishes please make sure everyone of the league uses the same version.

Here are the improvements / fixes compared to version 16.5.23:
- Added dynamically generated hint / loading text based on the currently loaded game
- Emphasized leaders for batting & pitching stats in player screen
- Added pitcher WAR to team register history
- Allow separate overall and potential scales

Final thoughts:

This update wraps up the development of OOTP 16. We may release another maintenance patch later this summer, but in general we're now shifting to OOTP 17 development. No rest for the wicked!

Patch #5 for Out of the Park Baseball 16, version 16.5.23, is now available.
Here are the improvements / fixes compared to version 16.4.17:

- Updated roster set (need to start new game for changes to apply)
- Added support for up to 100 custom lineups per team. Save & manage lineups from the team lineups screens and apply them in the pre-game lineup selection, the 7-day lineups screen and the regular lineups screen.
- Adjusted players refusing to sign with rebuilding teams
- Adjusted some owner goal evaluation and feedback
- Introduced support for WEBP image format for ballpark background pictures and 3D texttures, reducing the download size of the game
- Attendance chart in front office page now scales to stadium capacity
- Fixed potential crash in draft if draft rounds do not get updated properly
- Ask AI in online draft list will now populate closer to the number of potential players needed
- If running without a draft or feeders, create more players to avoid running out of players
- Fixed some HOF issues if playing with multiple major leagues
- Fixed issue with increasing a contract offer being refused by Owner
- Fixed scout recommendation in draft
- Added flag to force a player from each team for All-Star game
- Fixed crash if AI handling substitutions and starting pitcher is injured
- Fixed contract negotiation loophole
- Fixed incorrect playoff rosters
- Fixed rare issue with the batter sometimes coming up twice while playing out games

Final thoughts

The next update is scheduled for sometime in July, it'll add a couple of small new features and wrap up the OOTP 16 development.
