Still a terrible Americanized mess like the first one or more of an actual translation?

I loved the first ones translation!
And I like the original translation as well.

I liked the 'terrible americanized mess' as you call it much more than this new translation. It has lost what charm it had and it is now a generic Visual Novel for Japan fanbois.

I probably wouldn't buy the sequel if there's only the 'westernized'. I bought this one cause I replayed the first after the 'dewesternized' version was available. and I liked the 'dewesternized' version much better.

It was a smart move to create 2 versions to cover both types of audiences.

Except that now I am left in the open with nothing to enjoy because the purist translation is the official one now and the sequel has no option to change it.
