I just bought this game and It seems to have this constant lagging. I'm not sure why or if I can fix it somehow. Can someone help me?

This bug can prevent you from continuing the game. At the very beginning of the chapter 2 (Alert Pike's mansion, Arkansas), you have to open the portail and, if you go to the right, there is an hidden object scene. You have to take a knife to open a bag and take the cotton in it. Which I did. I left the HOG scene accidentaly and came back to it. The bag was closed, I didn't have the cotton but the knife disappeared. I can not take the knife again, open the bag again and take the cotton again. I can not fin...

The door puzzle in chapter 2 says you need PAIRS to remove the pieces. How can you remove pairs when there are 2 sets that are odd numbers?

Does anybody know when the next game will come to steam?
