Special Edition worth it?

Just wonder those weapons and stuff worth the higher price? Or they simply custom stuff or hardcore fans?
I know many people said the itself doesn't worth it, but I played the demo and I kinda like it. And I guess it won't be cheaper. I wait for a decent sale 2 years.

If its on promo i'd get it. I must admit i quite like Avatar on the PC, its a lot smoother than both console versions. It makes a big difference to the gameplay.

I saw it on sale at the Uplay store once. You could get it from there if you wanted to. I wouldn't want another client to download though.

OK so the game is gone from the Steam store. The Mayans did it!
BUT was the Special Edition worth it? :D

I managed to get the normal version just before The End, what great features will i be missing forever and after? :O

Anyway, I can still play from Uplay - the one client I still don't use. anyway, I've found this, some extra DLc stuff- maybe the SE or not:

Yep, it looks like a free Spceial Edition upgrade promotion. I think the Steam version was also a plus code for the Ubi account.
