after buying this game i pressed play only for it to not start so if it doen't start i may have a fix for you guys.

on assassins creed 2 you want to click on settings on the game thru steam itself then click on manage, and then click on browse local files. after done correctly you should see all of the assassins creed 2 game files, then you want to scroll all the way down to the bottom where it says ubisoft installer or something like that, right click on the ubisoft installer, then click run as administrator.

now not to confuse you but this is not (ubiconnect) this is the old version of the ubisoft app so don't confuse it with the new one, i already have the ubiconnect but i guess in the game files in assassins creed 2 you need to install the old version of it, after you have said yes to everything it will say its no longer in use or outdated, just ignore that then come back to your library on steam then click on assassins creed 2 and then you need to verify integrity files it should be on (steam) thru the game settings of assassins creed 2 under properties on installed files so click on that, then wait for it to be done verifying the game now your game should work for you. however after verifying the game files i would just restart your pc just incase if it doesn't bug out your computer however i will leave that up to you decided, after i have completed these tasks my assassins creed 2 works just fine I hope this helped you out and thank you for taking the time to read this
