I had the same issue. A standard W-SPACE-Mouse 2 jump would result in the toon jumping into the wall to the left of the corner, sliding down the wall and having to start the sequence again. W key was behaving as an S key and moving the toon backwards. The D and A keys were also a little squirrelly in this area. I killed the three guards around ten times logging in and logging out of the instance. There was no way to backtrack out.
I eventually solved it by using a D-SPACE-Mouse 2 combination for the jump.
Not sure if it is GeForce or screen resolution issue. AC2 is not supported by GeForce.
