Patch 4 - Initial Performance Tweaks and Bugfixes

Initial performance enhancements, Optimized the base ship class to use fewer physics rays for pathfinding. Each ship is now setup in one of 5 buckets, only one bucket is executed each physics step so performance should be much better with more ships as only 1/5th of the ships are being simulated each step as before
Fixed a bug where the galaxy map would be shown on initial load instead of the start menu causing some buttons to not be clickable unless you backed out and returned
Fixed a bug where music tracks would overlap each other

Beam weapons do no damage.

As title says, of the 2 starting ships the Iron Tempest long range beam one does no damage.

Progression Overhaul

Progression Overhaul

With this update progression has been completely overhauled. Previously progression was tied to the "Cycle" number which was a little abstract. The cycle count has now been replaced with a cluster map. This map represents the progress of the entire game, as you venture further outward the difficulty and rewards will increase. Difficulty and rewards have also been overhauled, progression now happens much faster so enemies will become noticeably more difficulty and the rewards gained at the end of each galaxy will be much more powerful as well. You will also unlock new ships and new tech as you defeat galaxies. 6 new ships have been added and 6 new tech have been added to unlock

Unfortunately, as a part of this update previously unlocked cycles will be reset however you will retain all unlocked starting ships

There is an option in settings to delete your save state for anyone who would like to start from the beginning

Fixed a performance issue with skipping the tutorial
Fixed a bug where upgrades on capital ship were not calculated correctly
Fixed a bug where 2 techs shared behavior
Fixed a bug where the damage on support ships was being rounded to an int instead of a float
Adjusted enemy capital ship hitpoints
Fixed an memory reference issue where ship unlocks would be duplicated

Patch 3 - Adjusted progression and difficulty

Balance

Reduced flat damage gained from tech
Reduced Missile damage
Merchant now spawns further away from the starting planet
Reduced Drone explosion radius
Adjusted ship level scaling to make ships much more difficult as you progress cycles
Adjusted starter ship reward scaling so reward ships are more powerful as you progress cycles
10% stat increase per cycle -> 20% stat increase per cycle

Bugs
Fixed an issue with RMB battle camera movement
Fixed a bug/crash where drones wouldn't heal from repair ship
Fixed an issue where resetting upgrades would reset all stats to 0 instead of starting level
Fixed a bug where hitting escape in the pause menu would start the battle before the "Start" button was pressed
Fixed a bug where "Increase Fleet Capacity" cost would not reset its cost between games
Fixed a bug where game could crash when changing ship behavior after battle ended

Added a plus sign to per turn resources for consistency
