Not running on windows 10 Finding Nemo
Hi,

I recently installed Windows 10 into this PC - Installed Steam and downloaded all the games I had on my account - My 6 year old boy wanted to play Finding Nemo only to find a black screen with the sounds of the game but no picture. Do you know if there is something we can do to solve this?

Thanks.

Have you all tried to validate the game files by right clicking the game and going local files and validate game assets? This game is an old game but it should still have support for windows 10.

If anyone still needs help, find a DirectX 8 wrapper. That fixed my problem.
If anyone is somehow looking at this 6 years after it's posted, I found a way to fix this for myself! I had to change the compatibility to WXP SP3. If you're unsure on how to do it:

1. Right click the game in your library and go to Properties.
2. Click on Local Files and then Browse.
3. Find the file called 'NemoAdv.exe', right click and go to Properties.
4. Go to Compatibility.
5. Where it says 'Compatibility mode', make sure the 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' box is selected! Click on the drop down arrow and select 'Windows XP (Service Pack 3)'.
6. Press Apply, then press OK.
7. Now the game should be able to run!

I had to try various different versions to find the right one where it would work, so if Service Pack 3 doesn't work, try those different ones! :) now my niece can finally play my childhood game mwhahaha

what actually helped me was changing my screen resolution to 800x600 in windows display settings! then started the game and it finally showed up, this was the only thing that worked for me
