The Whims of the Gods is already polished, among other things, thanks to you! Enough that we can present our game to all interested people. If you are one of the folks who want to play and give us your feedback, or fill out the survey (after you play;) we will be obliged.

That is why we invite you to join our Discord community[discord.com], where you will be able to leave feedback on the game we are creating. We will be grateful for any comments regarding UX/UI, graphics, gameplay, understanding of mechanics, crashes, or ideas for improvement. We will appreciate information about the smallest errors and your suggestions or questions will also be answered by the team responsible for creating the game.

But if you don't wanna join our Discord, you can share the feedback also via Steam discussions (however, please keep in mind that the appropriate playtest thread will appear there only after you activate your product key!).

The second public playtests of The Whims of the Gods are starting right now! 🎉

Our first public playtests of The Whims of the Gods have just finished. And telling the truth, the interest in our title has outstripped us!

More people than we expected signed up for the playtests, including content creators, potential publishers, and editorial staff of gaming portals, which we are very happy about. Not only because we received very detailed responses and commentary, but also because every one of our playtesters showed understanding, gave us constructive criticism, and was in touch with us. Your input was invaluable, especially since we could not catch some bugs in internal tests despite our best efforts. We caught, reproduced, and eliminated the bugs you pointed out during playtests.

These two weeks with you were exceptional on our Discord channel[discord.com]. Thanks to you, we improved the game, fixed some of the glitches you found, and patched the build, which will soon be publicly... available again! We think that this option can even appear in December this year! We want even more people to get to know The Whims of the Gods before the release and see for themselves the power of the title we are creating. Of course, by helping us you can appear in the game's credits.

The Whims of the Gods public playtests are in full swing (until November 22, 3 p.m. CET). Testers are reporting their feedback on an ongoing basis, and our team is constantly working on fixes and improvements to the game to adapt it to players' expectations—for which we are very grateful. Moreover, we will update the build today, so we encourage you to download the update, which should eliminate most of the shortcomings!

So far, we have managed to: 📢

📌 fix the fisherman getting stuck when releasing him at the pier's edge.
📌 fix blocking construction so that roads cannot be built through... trees 🌳
📌 fix the counter of fish available for catching, which incorrectly displayed information after starting a saved game
📌 fix a bug where some technologies are not discovered after loading a saved game
📌 fix loading saves in co-op mode
📌 we have blocked the possibility of placing other structures in places intended for tutorial buildings if one of the players completes the tutorial
📌 fix a bug that sometimes occurs and unlocks the totem when playing with the tutorial, which did not occur when players skipped the tutorial
📌 fix the occasional removal of roads if we place entrances to newly constructed buildings on them
change the ending of the energy quest
📌 block repeating sounds; now we won't spam them anymore while building the city 😄
📌 fix rocks at the river mouth
📌 add music to the main menu
📌 disable FSR2 support, because it caused artifacts on some graphics cards to change the display of information when hovering over a resource on the map
