yes unfortunately night dive studios have not adjusted the dosbox settings right - you can go into the dosbox_atr.conf file (open it as a text document) and change the settings, which is what i have done and have always done for gettign dosbox games to run just right - and dosbox intends users to do thisreally
go to the game's steam folder and open the folder "dosbox windows" and there is the dosbox_atr.conf file. Open the file in notepad and where it has "memsize=32" change the 32 to a 16
and further down where it has core=.auto and cpu type=auto change these also so to be
core=normal
cputype=pentium_slow
save it and that should be enough to have dosbox emulate a computer from 1994 that will suit AtR
No my friend, no xbox gamepad for us back in the 90s :-) I played this for a couple hours and it was fun and it gave me some old Microprose flashbacks to the early 90s, and I really got into it for a few battles... but is it just me or is Steel Division SO MUCH BETTER than this that this really becomes impossible to play for very long if you have ever played Steel Division. SD is superior, I think, in every possible way.... except there's no "career" mode... I miss career modes, all games used to have them... but I guess that is what Multiplayer ratings are for...
