Lighting
Everything else seems to work, and the game runs fine, but the sunlight coming thru the trees just seems to flash on and off constantly, as if it's re-calculating how the light and shadows should look constantly, and they just end up flashing a lot. Is there a fix for this? It makes the game unplayable.

Tried the mod that is supposed to turn shadows off completely, but that doesn't do anything.

Unplayable. Getting refund. Sad.

Not sure if I even want to try the sequel, if it has this sort of problem in a 9 year old game.
Setting the FPS greater than 60 causes that issue.

This is a very old xbox console port so not sure what you expected.

I had the refresh rate set to 60.

I expected a functional game or a way to fix it with a mod or something. I refunded this weeks ago, because it doesn't work properly.
Works fine on the computers it was made for a decade ago. That is what I mean by 'what you expected'.
I have a lot of software that's more than 10 years old that runs fine on my machine. I expected functional software when I bought it. It wasn't functional, so I refunded it.
I don't care if you refunded it, you should since it does not work on "your" computer. Just because some other software 'works fine' means nothing since that software has nothing in common with the game software.
sounds like fps
