This may sound really really really dumb... When you start breakdown, try saving it under the second slot. Otherwords don't start it in save spot one... I know that sounds strange but something like that happened to me before, couldn't get save 1 to load, so would have to load save 2, and than save one would load. It's worth a shot

Thanks, Tried that and no dice. Not really sure what the problem is with Lifeline. Not too happy that I spent money for a game that is no longer supported and part of it doesn't work. But Breakdown does work so there is that. Thanks again for the recommendation.

The game is still supported, but remember this is the second run of the game so they didn't have to do a lot of patches.

With that said you should still be able to play Lifeline.

This is the last thing I can think of, if you used mods before some of them don't translate over to lifeline. I would delete the game, and go into your steam folder and delete all your saves, pretty much any trace of the game on your hard drive because your importing save files from your hard drive. When you delete a game your saves remain. I bet that is your problem if you used mods.

Hello everyone from 2025! I have the same problem! I used to play this game on win7, now on win10, but The game crashes when selecting the "Lifeline" add-on. How to fix this?
