Start as a small ship for the faction you choose (unlocked by destroying ships of that faction, besides the starting faction) and slowly work your way up into building the strongest ship (and soon fleet) in your faction. Very Casual, as death only results in dropping easy-to-obtain resources, and you respawn at the closest safe factory. Not all factions have the same parts to choose from, and the different shapes allows for a lot of different geometric combinations.
