I wanted to like this, and while the visuals are stellar the main thing at fault with this game is that the buffs and attack upgrades you get are so loosely given to you that it makes it really unsatisfying to gather them. Very quickly it becomes a complete autogunner that just has no return for the amount of input you are giving. Just kind of feels mindless and there isn't any reason to run from one corner to another. The enemy projectiles are difficult to see and you just kinda get hit regardless. There's no real weight to the deaths except in endless mode which I just gave up cus it was just the same just with limited lives. I love the concept sadly I would have liked it to be more robust in terms of how you chose your upgrades instead of just walking blindly and gathering upgrades.

I hope it isn't too discouraging because I would want to play a more complex version of this, because I do believe it could be better.
