Gigantic

Gigantic

Dear Chris Chung
Hey Chris. I don't know if you're still out there, but I just want you to know that we need you. Much like the energy you and your team had bringing this gift into being, I'm sure you can still pull through. It doesn't matter if Gigantic is in Tartarus. I'm sure you and anyone else still in the fight can produce this product under a new name with a few changes. It doesn't matter how. I just know that you're still out there, and with you lies the ideas behind Gigantic. No matter what, as long as you're out there, Gigantics still alive.

Hey friends,
Chris here. Letters like these mean a lot to me and is the reason why I'm still in the industry. I've been helping other development teams for the past year with mentoring and coaching with the experience I learned from Motiga. I am not sure if I am ready to build another studio from the ground up. I poured everything I have to build Motiga and Gigantic and it will take some time for me to build the courage to do something like that again.
Best,
Chris

I check back on this game's community page every now and then, so I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one hoping for Gigantic's return even though the chances of that happening is terribly slim. This game was an absolute breath of fresh air.

Curious. Theoretically, if Gigantic were to be revived by PWE would you be willing to continue work on the project?
I've heard that there are a few other ex-Motiga employees out there willing to come back.

From what SoFech has said. Reviving Gigantic isn't totally off the table, there's just a few hurdles that need to be jumped.

You know, for those who might agree with me, Epicgames seems like the perfect place to pitch Gigantic. They've been picking up free to plays recently, and they're still expanding. I suspect their goal is to expand until they can rival Steam's library. Considering how good Gigantic is, I feel like it would most definitely get picked up

omg, big congratulations for your work, Giga was criminally underrated, its easily the best pvp game ever, i still cant believe the bad luck it had. We are all here and on the reddit waiting for a miracle, 1 year later and theres still no way to fill the void Gigantic left. I hope you have another chance with a sucessor and it gets the recognition that Motiga deserved
Dear Chris Jung, I am a fan of the game gigantic from Russia.I really hope that you will start gigantic again, and no, you will not create a similar game, but will revive gigantic.I really want the game to be exactly gigantic.I hope to restore the game soon.A fan from Russia is waiting...
