How to play with C3 resources

CaesarIΛ has its own resources (textures, models, music, etc), but in current version only the 1st tutorial mission in completely covered with new textures.

But you can play with original C3 textures (sg2 or repacked). In order to do so, follow these steps:

And then restart the game.

Some hints on Steam Community:

You may want to pin this topic. (Moderator Tools in right panel)
Add embedded screenshots in topic:
1. Make screenshots via Steam Overlay (F12 shortcut).
2. Upload them via Overlay or on exit.
3. Add captions.
4. Put links here.
Embedded screenshots looks better than external links. :-)

can you extract sg2/555 files from dmg?

Hi,
I have a problem playing C3 (I have the original game but the French version).
When I'm playing, I have no music at all, no sound when righ-click on citizen, engineer, ....
The only sound is birds singing and wind (but it loops each 2sec !).
How can I solve the problem ?

Any updates on that? I've tried to get original textures with adding the path to the adv. settings' line of the gfx-line. Pathes for smk- and wav-files are added automatically then, as far as I've seen. Anything else to be done?
