Report a translation problem
Open Control Panel
Click on Programs and Features.
Upper Left click "Turn Windows Features On or Off".
When the list populates find Legacy Components, you might have to scroll down.
Click the tiny PLUS to the left of Legacy Components.
There is Direct Play item in there and make sure it is CHECKED. Click OK.
Windows will have to configure itself and follow the directions. I dont have the directions, like rebooting or such, because Direct Play was already checked in my clean install of Win 10 and it was checked by defualt.

STILL UNABLE TO PLAY BHD....If I would have known what a problem having to play through steam ....I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED ....I WANT TO HAVE A DOWNLOAD I CAN INSTALL ON MY COMPUTER....NEVERF HAD A PROBLEM BEFORE
