is there a way to skip the cutscene at the beginning, its pretty bad for speedrun to have to watch it each time

It would be nice if the game had a working pause button that actually paused the instance of the game, rather than just bring up an overlay. Because also, another issue that I've been having, you can't ever stay completely still. When I stop, my character still very slowly starts sliding off the platform. To the point where you can't really walk away from the game for very long. I've had times where I pause the game, and see my character slip off of the platform after a few minutes....
