get me past this crash
Game crashed at the end of the bug infested train ride, it gets to the end of the cutscene were kota orders abandon ship, then I'm just back on my desktop, no error message, no save for the next level, just cutscene then no game

If I can just get to the immediate next bit It will work again because that's what starwars games DO (kotor does it on taris, academy does it on ord mantel, etc)

I have crushes when software capture is on, and crashes right between heavy load segments, so maybe that an issue

no capture running, graphics set to minimum (BECAUSE of this crash)

how far I get through the cut scene also changes between attempts

some times it crashes as soon as kota says any words, sometimes it gets to a loading screen showing kamino before cutting out

Mods like 60 fps or smt similar

Well, i hate to day this, but maybe you need to check integrity of file, cause if this crash persistent in this particular moment, than something isnt right about the mission, that goes after this cutscene, also try to skip it maybe?

Well, i hate to day this, but maybe you need to check integrity of file, cause if this crash persistent in this particular moment, than something isnt right about the mission, that goes after this cutscene, also try to skip it maybe?

the previous game had penalties for cheats, the integrity check replaced a file... then the game crashed at the same place

I got past the kotor taris glitch with a skip cheat to the rancor so I can (as a matter of personal honesty) accept that compromise if told how without losing access to things like force points

well
if its a save file problem, then everyone you share this file - will have a crash, thus only new game for you
if it isnt, then who knows what went wrong, but maybe you can continue if you share it

I have not shared the save file

am playing for myself on my own

status update:
made it to a loading screen after kota calls abandon ship
then it crashes anyway

Had the same problem. Found this working solution in an old thread:

go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2\Game\Disc\FMV\Win32

find KAM2_LOAD file, and rename it (I just wrote "off" on the front). Looks like its the loading file that is causing all the trouble. By renaming it, u deactivate that one, and can still see al other cutscenes

so by essentially deleting the cut scene, the game will skip it, or will this only work once I already get to the mission after this one?
