the button to switch to classic mode is F1, but on my laptop that button also makes my laptop screen go to sleep. so when i try to switch modes, it turns my screen off and pauses the game (and doesn't switch the game mode). did anyone else have this problem and can anyone help me figure out a way around it? i'm not sure of the best approach if there is one. thanks!...

Old retro pixel art games are best played with a slight blur. I just worked out a hack for myself regarding this. I set up OBS with a full screen record, and added a blur filter to the capture. Then have a preview show fullscreen on my secund monitor. It is a clumsy setup. But worth it. The blur does wonders for the old pixel art. Everything looks so much better. If the devs are reading this, and there is somehow still possebility for new updates, please consider adding some blur....

As a kid ive played monkey island 1 with my mother and brother, we did get to finish te game. I never seen or knew anyone who had monkey island 2 , so i never got to play it. My grandmother bought monkey island 3 when it came out, she loved adventure games. So i really totally missed out on part 2. I also never looked it up on youtube or anything. So its all brand new for me. I just finished monkey island 1 special edition yesterday. And started monkey island 2 just now. It looks so much better then monk...

with steam deck im not able even to start the game, it does nothing...

I seem to need three crackers. The guide says to go the dino and the bird will show up, but no, he doesn't, unless I give him a cracker on the beach. He then shows up on the dinosaur, but only gives me the clue to the rocks and I have none left to give him on the rocks. I can give him both crackers on the beach for the same result. I'm stuck at the rocks. Just going east from there doesn't get me to the "X"...
