any plans for trading cards?

i would love a chonker badge to display on my profile :-)

if you dont want to use the pixel art for cards, a community based art contest for the cards would be super fun! especially since prizes are easy (maybe a unique background for winners and runner ups, or just golden rolls/exp boosts!) and wont involve any extra cost. the cards could be the first cat in each set, or related to items (an art for each toy upgrade would be cute) or backgrounds

Apologies for the late reply!
We'd love to add badges and trading cards. Unfortunately, Chonkers is not yet eligible to feature profile items.
Thanks for your suggestions! We'll keep them in mind once we meet Valve's threshold and become eligible.

But the store page does not show that game is limited or that steam is learning about the game, I always thought that once that notification is gone game is eligible for achievements/trading cards.

Chonkers has indeed become eligible a few days after my last reply. I'll carefully check Valve's guidelines for the profile items as soon as I have finished drawing the room/furniture for the next update.
After creating the avatars, backgrounds, cards, etc., we'll have to submit them to Valve for review. So, I don't expect it to happen very soon. It would've been cool to have trading cards ready for the Idler Fest but unfortunately, timing wasn't on our side.
